Thaté (Halflings)

Native American inspired civilization. They ride dogs and they will have a singular large city similar to Thuderbluff in WoW. Have a respect for nature but are great farmers and masters of irrigation. Very lively, very fun loving, very cheerful overall.

The combination of their language stems from a very deep rooted love for music and it naturally moving into their mode of expression. It also allows for communication across distances visually without the need for sound. Many of the halflings live in smaller clusters of communities that roam as needed but there are larger portions of settled land that practice minor forms of agriculture. This is more established on the far Western portion of the plains where the “Mormons” live. The largest city is called Donderbluf which is a large plateau that has a huge windmill into it. It’s the location of most of the aviation industry that exists as well. The Thate view flight as the ultimate form of freedom and make a pilgrimage once in their lives if they are able to partake in a ride through the skies around the area.

Dogs that are their mounts are given at birth and stay with them through life. They form a bond at a young age that keeps them permanently connected to each other. They are able to sense each other’s locations at all times. Dogs take a wide shape of varieties but often take on some attributes of their partner, usually the color of their hair or eyes.
